I live in Wahgunyah with my 4 children, husband and a multitude of animals. I have worked as a Dietitian in the local area for over 16 years working in multiple settings including community health, private practice, small regional hospitals, and aged care settings. This has allowed me to work with a broad range of people of all ages and conditions.
I have a strong interest in eating disorders and supporting people with concerns about their body to reconnect with their body and re-discover the joy of eating; I work with my clients helping them breakdown and overcome barriers related restricted eating patterns and living by 'food rules' and 'diets'.
I have owned and worked with horses since childhood and have more recently combined this personal passion with my professional life and now also offer Equine Assisted Therapy (EAT) and counselling so I can better support my clients to understand and navigate the events and circumstances that impact their lives, how we interact in the world, and our ability to make change.
I embrace holistic approach in my practice using many tools including counselling, Equine Assisted Therapy, Art Therapy to help my clients achieve wellness.
My credentials include:
There are many confusing messages that we receive about food, and often those messages set us up for unrealistic expectations. At Be Well and E.A.T we understand that there are many factors that impact the way we eat and not everything is black and white.
We can support you with a wide range of concerns including:
EDP and EPC Medicare rebates are available. We can also help with home visits for NDIS and Age Care, Telehealth consults and group education needs.

Equine Assisted Therapy (EAT) is where the horse acts as a co-facilitator in a counselling session and is an alternative to traditional room-based therapy. Horses help us have full body awareness. EAT has been found to be useful for mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, eating disorders, addictions and more. It has also been found useful for people on the autism spectrum and those struggling with social and emotional transitions. I offer EAT for individuals and groups.
For individuals, EAT can help with:
· Personal development
· Emotional support
· Mindfulness practice
· Social skills
· Boundary setting.
For groups, EAT can be beneficial for:
· Team building
· Emotional support
· Improving understanding of a situation
· Improving communications.
Fees for EAT services:
Counselling is embedded within all other services but also available as a discrete service. I offer counselling sessions to individuals which are designed to help you as a client to better understand yourself and your nervous system.
